Timberlake is a hidden treasure in the heart of North Carolina, located in Whitsett near Greensboro and Burlington, on a 165-acre nature preserve embraced by pine and hardwood forests and encircled by Lake Mackintosh. There is no need to rush while you celebrate your special day with us. Not only do we offer a selection of four beautiful outdoor ceremony sites, but we provide you with access to the Earth Sanctuary for up to 48 hours. So while you prepare for your wedding event, you and your guests have access to our walking trails, scenic overlooks, quiet ponds and breathtaking views of Lake Mackintosh.

The perfect setting for a magical forest wedding in a peaceful wooded space carpeted with pine needles, that will take your breath away! This intimate site is encircled by mature pines and hardwoods, with rows of handmade wooden benches, and is infused with the sweet aromas of cedar. This special site provides a feeling of timelessness as Earth quietly embraces your sacred moment. The sound of birdsong and rustling of leaves call each person to the present moment.
Orchard –
An elegant, partially tree-shaded ceremony site that provides a picturesque and expansive outdoor setting for your wedding and family photos. Beautifully tended, this park-like space is sweet, simple, and classy. Meander through the soft green grass, feel the warmth of sun on your face, and bask in the light of this grace-filled moment.
Gaia’s Garden –
A sweet and delightful ceremony site for a small wedding, cocktail party, or for a peaceful meander. Enjoy the beauty of the rose bushes, grape and kiwi arbors, and the pond. A tranquil space to wander the stone path through a variety of budding trees and perennials in the spring, lush foliage in the summer, and the abundance of life and love all year round.

Reception Tent & Court
Our elegant wedding tent offers space for an incredible reception celebration and can accommodate up to 150 people. Situated next to the Orchard and across from Gaia’s Garden, it offers easy access to the pond, fields, walking trails and major landmarks.
The tent sits atop a beautifully designed concrete court and features delicate string lighting. It’s an open space full of possibility and is ready to be transformed into your creation! It also includes an extension for catering or storage and walls for rain or shine. The court is encircled by backlit bushes and boasts a generous fire pit that creates a warm ambiance and inviting atmosphere. With ample space, the court is perfect for setting up a band or DJ, hanging out by the fire, and dancing all night long.
The reception space also offers a designated smoking area right off the court as well as thoughtfully designed and fully equipped restrooms.

The charming, three-story Treehouse features a main “round room” perfect for gathering, dressing, and getting ready; a fully stocked kitchen, a cozy bedroom with a double bed, clean sheets, a feather comforter, fresh towels and a deck with chairs. Wedding parties may use the space for rehearsal dinners, dressing areas, and overnight accommodations.
A beautiful wrap-around deck offers plenty of outdoor seating. This is a great place to enjoy meals while taking in the sounds and sights of nature. Outside the Treehouse is a fire pit, access to trails and two beautiful ponds just a short walk away.
End your wedding evening with your beloved here at our Treehouse Wedding Suite where you can sit out on the deck, listen to the serenade of night sounds and revel in the loving embrace of nature.

We’ve taken our popular weekend Wedding package to the next level by adding in the updated Timberlake North! Bring your family and friends along for a unique “on-farm” weekend celebration, Enjoy our fully renovated Barn, 13 new Hestia “glamping” tents on wooden platforms, and a rustic stone fire circle.
The Destination package includes all of the services and amenities of the Weekend Package plus exclusive use of Timberlakes Barn and Tent Village. Included are overnight accommodations for up to 25 guests and access to our three-and-a-half miles of hiking trails for the entire weekend.
Our newly remodeled, solar-powered Barn is 2,500 square feet of airconditioned and heated space with a spacious kitchen with dining area, gathering space with a wood stove, bathrooms with showers, laundry facilities, two offices with futons, and an upstairs bonus room that can function as a yoga studio, game room, or an additional dining area.

Our packages are designed for couples who want to slow down and move at nature’s pace–couples who long for a serene and stress-free wedding weekend. Here at Timberlake, we offer couples the opportunity to celebrate the wholeness of their love in the sacred presence of the natural world.

“Timberlake is quite literally the most perfect wedding venue you can imagine. For an “all-in-one” weekend, it was PERFECT. We did our rehearsal on-site, followed by a Rehearsal Dinner at the beautifully renovated “Barn” on-site. The Groom stayed there. Our groomsmen and some bridesmaids slept on property in the permanent tents. The Bride stayed in the Treehouse the night before. The bridal party got ready on-site, the day of. The wedding in the woods was simply enchanting. The cocktail hour in Gaia’s Garden was picture-perfect. Our Reception in the Tent, with our caterer was also perfect.
